The Early Years Programme at Madhav International School lays a joyful and meaningful foundation for lifelong learning.

Examination Policy

At Madhav International School, examinations and assessments are conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Our assessment system is designed to measure conceptual understanding, application of knowledge, critical thinking, and overall student progress while maintaining the highest standards of fairness and academic integrity.

Assessment Framework

Balanced formative & summative assessments

Student progress is evaluated through a balanced system of formative and summative assessments conducted throughout the academic year. The assessment process may include:

  • Periodic Assessments

  • Half-Yearly Examinations
  • Annual Examinations

For Grades X and XII, assessments are conducted strictly in accordance with the examination pattern and regulations prescribed by CISCE.

Examination Guidelines

What students are expected to do

  • Report to the examination hall at least 15 minutes before the scheduled commencement.
  • Carry their School Identity Card during examinations.
  • Bring all required stationery and permitted materials.
  • Follow all instructions issued by the invigilators.
  • Maintain discipline and silence throughout the examination.
  • Submit answer scripts before leaving the examination hall.
  • The use of mobile phones, smart devices, or any unauthorized material is strictly prohibited.
Academic Integrity

Honesty, responsibility & ethical conduct

Madhav International School promotes honesty, responsibility, and ethical conduct. Any form of academic malpractice — including copying, plagiarism, impersonation, possession of unauthorized material, or communication during examinations — will be treated as a serious disciplinary offence and appropriate action will be taken as per the school's regulations.

Attendance During Examinations

Regular attendance matters

Students are expected to maintain regular attendance throughout the academic year. Absence from an examination must be supported by a valid reason and relevant documentation. Requests for special consideration will be reviewed by the school on a case-by-case basis.

Promotion Policy

Promotion to the next grade is based on the student's overall academic performance, completion of assessments, attendance, and adherence to the school's academic requirements. The decision of the school regarding promotion shall be final.

Parents are encouraged to regularly monitor academic progress through the MyClass App and maintain close communication with teachers.

Re-evaluation & Review

The school follows CISCE norms regarding verification and review of answer scripts for board examinations. For internal examinations, requests for review may be considered in accordance with the school's examination procedures.
